Lester’s Story

Lester arrived after a long journey across Guatemala, determined to get a replacement wheelchair for a worn-out chair he outgrew long ago. He was thrilled, as you can see by his giant and constant smiles! Some cultures believe that children with disabilities are angels in disguise, sent to test the faith and practice of those with whom they come in contact. If Lester really is an angel, I’d believe it, because his smile constantly radiates the love of God.
