Wheelchairs for Kids International’s Executive Director, Brad Blauser, partnered with Hope Haven International and traveled to My Tho, Vietnam, on 1 June, 2015. Despite several travel complications and extreme heat, over 21 Vietnamese children with disabilities received pediatric adjustable wheelchairs!! This was our first distribution in Vietnam and we hope there will be many more in the future!
The most smiley girl WFKI has ever met came to our wheelchair distribution in Guatemala. Dora spreads joy wherever she goes, which will be many more places now that she’s got her first wheelchair! I predict she will be very popular once her community discovers her beautiful personality.
On this day, little Dora gained her independence from a life lived in the arms of her mother and the dirt floor of her home. Now she has a respectable means of mobility, and has many more opportunities for education and social interaction. Please help us bring nonprofit pediatric wheelchairs to kids who need their first wheelchairs for better health, mobility and longer lives!

Little Mai received an adjustable wheelchair during our first distribution in Vietnam in 2015. She was such a sweetie pie! Her wheelchair is soft, comfortable and supportive, and will grow in size to fit her body as it grows! Her mother is happy to have a great wheelchair to help her daughter be more independent and social! We don’t think she’ll need a lot of help making friends! Do you?!
